Office LAB Zug

Conceptual approach

The LAB Postplatz Zug office is located in the historic post office building in the heart of the city of Zug. As part of a competition for a two-year interim use, Offconsult was able to develop a concept that included an urban coworking space and a platform for art, culture and events. This approach convinced the owner, Swiss Post Ltd, as well as the city and canton of Zug. One of the challenges was to convert the historic and listed building into a use that would meet the needs of all stakeholder groups.
