Offconsult Project Credit Suisse Coworking

Credit Suisse

Conceptual approach
Coworking

Credit Suisse commissioned Offconsult with the concept and design for a new coworking hub in Zurich Altstetten. The aim was to expand the rental offering and develop a new, innovative model that would appeal to new target groups such as start-ups, freelancers, innovation and project groups as well as creative professionals and SMEs. As an important part of any coworking concept, the community area was prominently located at the entrance. The inviting, colorful and open community area and kitchen invite people to share, eat, play and linger. This not only provides a warm and welcoming experience for every visitor, but also helps to structure the space from busy and energetic zones into quieter areas for focused work. Coworkers choose "The Standard" to get their work done, or "Parks and Recreation" where they can relax and work among plants and swings. The "Garage" offers the right setting to work on projects with team colleagues and give free rein to creativity, while the "Library" is a quiet place to read. For concentrated work or a meeting, there are various options in the "Huddle Lane", ranging from focus rooms to meeting rooms for up to 6 people. The aim was to create different working environments ranging from normal height-adjustable tables to project benches, concentrated work or project zones. This gives every employee the opportunity to work in the environment that best suits them and their activity (activity-based working).
